A unique Noodle Box is the first of six new eateries to open in the Springwood Mall’s new dining alfresco, marking the completion of its $21million renovations.
Renovations to the centre began in 2021 and finished up mid last year, featuring an expansion of Woolworths, more commercial spaces, more than 900 carparks and a new dining precinct.
Springwood Mall Marketing Manager, Donna O’Neill said the opening of the Noodle Box restaurant marked an exciting milestone for the mall.
“Springwood Mall is a place for the community to shop, eat and congregate and unfortunately, Springwood Mall had aged and wasn’t meeting the requirements we wanted to deliver to our community, the renovation has made it possible for the centre to meet the community’s needs for many years to come,” she said.
“The opening of Noodle Box marked an exciting milestone in the addition of our alfresco dining precinct.”
“The restaurant fit-outs will be the final elements to finish Springwood Mall’s new-look journey.”
Ms O’Neill said more eateries will be coming to the precinct very soon.
“Five more new restaurants will be opening in our alfresco area, which will increase the centre’s dining total offering to 15 kiosks, cafes and restaurants.”
Owner of Noodle Box Springwood, Ranjit Singh said it is exciting to be a part of the newly built precinct.
“We are looking forward to creating delicious dine in, delivery and takeaway Noodle Box meals for many people,” he said.
Unlike other Noodle Box franchises, Mr Singh’s restaurant combines three brands – Noodle Box, Supreme Leader and Dragon Dumplings – providing a unique mix of wok-style noodle dishes, Shanghai Dumplings and Korean fried chicken.
Mr Singh said he was excited to bring his unique flavours to Springwood.
“We make and serve our fresh food right in front of everyone thanks to our open kitchen, so the strict quality of our prime ingredients and skills of our chefs combine to produce a delicious and popular range of meals as well as great theatre for a relaxed dining experience,” he said.
Already “the choice has been really well received.”
Ms O’Neill said the centre will also see “a number of tenancies fitting out to open soon, including a medical centre and fresh produce market.”
