Five share in arts funding

Five logan creatives have received a share of $32,265 in the latest round of funding from the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

Recipients include local musician Cleon Barraclough, whose funding will help him compose original music, and film-maker Ged Maybury, who plans to host a film preview at Kingston Butter Factory.

Logan-based author Belinda Topan is another recipient, and her grant money will go towards a mentorship from the Queensland Writers Centre to help her finalise her fourth book.

Other winners are Nadine Schmoll, who will use the money to run local arts and science-based children’s workshops, and District Studios XCHANGE for creative development workshops for seven Logan creatives and cultural producers.
