A woman has died after colliding with an oncoming truck at Greenbank on Wednesday (5 July) afternoon.
The 34-year-old flagstone woman was travelling along Middle Road around 2pm when she collided with an oncoming truck, causing a third car to swerve.
The woman – the only person in the car – died at the scene, while the driver and sole occupant of the truck was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Middle Road is expected to be closed overnight and they have advised motorists to avoid the area.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, and is appealing to any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash to contact police.
