Where you do, don’t and might need a green tick

Anyone confused about where and when they’ll need to produce their green tick to prove vaccination need only look at Logan City Council facilities as an example.

Guests must show proof of vaccination at Logan Art Gallery and Mayes Cottage, at Beenleigh Events Centre and other function venues, including indoor entertainment venues such as Logan Enterntainment Centre.

The same goes for ticketed outdoor entertainment activities, including music festivals, and “some” of the activities on the school holiday program agenda.

This includes “some” KRANK school holiday and Live Well Logan activities.

Program providers, council says, will let you know.

Funerals are not subject to any vaccine mandates, but must comply with attendee limits managed by funeral directors.

If you’re shopping at the Logan Recycling Market, you’ll have to check in, but won’t have to show proof of vaccination.

The same applies to libraries, pools, gyms, council-owned indoor sports centres, youth centres and halls.

Customer service centres at Logan, Beenleigh and Jimboomba require check-in, as does the Animal Management Centre at Kingston and any outdoor Council events that are non-ticketed, including markets.

If you’re in a park or water play area, you’re in the clear – no check-in or vaccine proof required. The same goes for the tip.

In the meantime, Queensland Health’s Covid-19 vaccination clinic at the Logan Entertainment Centre in Logan Central gave out its last dose on Sunday afternoon.

If you still need a jab, you’ll have to do it at a private clinic or a walk-in clinic at Grand Plaza Browns Plains, IWAA Springwood, Jimboomba Community Hall (including Christmas Day), or Logan Hospital.
