Agents say the most in-demand home features in Logan’s real estate market are a generous block size, dual-living capacity, and cost-effective solar energy.
There are certain blocks, such as Greenbank’s 56-58 Bellbird Drive, that tick all three boxes.
At 4000sqm, estate agent Leanne Gunn from Stone Logan West said the home’s spacious block, living quarters, and bedroom capacity would be perfect for those wanting to entertain or a young family chasing extra space.
“It’s a real entertainer’s home. [When] you step outside, you’ve got the in-ground swimming pool, you’ve got chickens, a fire pit down the back, and a shed.”
“I think most buyers that are searching for a lifestyle allotment want that bigger land.”
The main residence hosts four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a garage with capacity to house four cars.
The home has undergone kitchen, laundry and bathroom, ensuite, and main renovations since the original build in 2004.
A cottage, used by the previous owner’s teenage children, on the property could be maximised and used as a granny flat for multi-generational living arrangements.
A chicken coup in the property’s backyard is occupied by hens that the current owners are willing to pass on to the new homeowners.
Keeping the hens is a decision for the new homeowners; should they decide against it the hens will be rehomed.
A 28-panel, 13.2 kilowatt solar system is installed on the roof of the main residence and also connects to the shed.
Ms Gunn said Greenbank and its neighbouring suburbs were growing in popularity, as the areas strike the right balance between property space and proximity to city amenities.
“It’s so close to everything,” Ms Gunn said.
