A tobacconist on Duke Street at Slacks Creek was set on fire shortly after 2am on Sunday, 29 March, police said.
It is the third tobacconist to be torched in a week. A Marsden tobacconist was set alight on Wednesday, 25 March.
A Slacks Creek tobacconist was allegedly targeted two days later on Friday, 27 March.
Police have not confirmed whether the three incidents are connected.
Police said the fire caused “moderate damage” to the store where they had established a crime scene.
Police said an unknown offender smashed the business’s glass door before setting the store on fire.
The offender fled in a dark coloured car, police said.
Police have asked members of the public who have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of the scene to contact them.
Investigations continue.
