Teen girl seriously injured in Eagleby collision

A teenage girl has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car at Eagleby this morning (Thursday 14 March).

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said a female in her teens was seriously injured in a “vehicle and pedestrian incident” along Fryar Road.

She suffered “significant head injuries”.

Paramedics arrived on scene at around 8.16am.

The spokesperson said the high acuity response unit had since taken the girl to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.

QAS have asked locals to avoid the area and expect delays.
