Logan VIEW – monthly column

By Anita Dunn

There’s nothing quite like enjoying morning tea in charming surroundings, especially with a group of women who began as acquaintances and are now becoming wonderful friends with each gathering. The ladies of Logan VIEW (Voice, Interests and Education of Women) know this well, which is why, on the third Wednesday of each month, we gather at a variety of delightful venues to share laughter, conversation and companionship.

On Wednesday, 20th May, the group will be meeting at the Butter Factory Arts & Craft Centre in Springwood. There is always room for more, so this is a warm and open invitation to ladies of all ages to come along, join in the fun and perhaps make a few new friends along the way.

As well as our morning teas, we hold monthly lunch gatherings on the second Wednesday of each month at Diggers Services Club at Logan Central.

These gatherings play an important role in raising funds to support Australian school children through their valued affiliation with The Smith Family.
