One of largest indoor family entertainment precincts in Australia has opened its doors in Logan.
Located in the old Bunnings building at Underwood, Area51 houses a ninja warrior course, high ropes, rock climbing walls, a parkour course, trampolines, ball pits, slides, a multi sports court and an air coaster.
Area51 Operations Manager, Elena Neale said it’s been a year in the making.
“We are really excited by this mammoth project, it has been one year in the making,” she said.
“We have the vision to be the largest playcentre in Australia, with people travelling to visit us.”
Although Area51 has now opened to the public, Ms Neale said the precinct build isn’t finished yet.
“Stage two will be completed in August bringing an ice rink to the space, and stage three will be done in December introducing night markets with local vendors.”
“We have also collaborated with many local tutors to offer a range of classes including exercise classes, dance, cooking, rock-climbing and so much more.”
Councillor Teresa Lane said, “It is amazing to have such a magic space in Logan where children can dream and have fun,” she said.
“We are blown away by this fun precinct, the energy, and jobs it brings. We want every child in Logan to experience this.”
Area51 is located at 51 Kingston Road, Underwood.
