JDRF doing important work

I recently had a virtual catch up with my little mate, Zeph.

He is age 9 and a JDRF advocate for Forde.

We caught up to have a chat about their current campaign ‘More Tech for More People living with Type 1 Diabetes makes sense to me’.

Zeph has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for over seven years now and he believes that no one should have to live without lifesaving equipment like his pump and CGM just because of money.

I couldn’t agree more with him and this is why I believe the work that JDRF is doing in this space is so important.

JDRF is the leading supporter of Type 1 Diabetes research in the world, they have transformed the world’s understanding of this disease and have been involved in every breakthrough of Type 1 Diabetes care in the last 45 years.

Their passion is to improve the lives of those affected by Type 1 Diabetes and they do this through continual research, advocacy, and community.

At the heart of everything JDRF do are the 125,000+ Australians who live with Type 1 Diabetes and the 2,900+ children and adults who are newly diagnosed with this disease each year.

I look forward to supporting the amazing work JDRF continue to do in this space now and into the future.
