Logan ratepayers can collect free plants during a council giveaway at Eagleby Wetlands on Saturday 12 September.
The Free Trees event will run from 9am-noon at the wetlands and adjoining Oliver Sports Complex, 293 Logan Street, Eagleby.
Eligible ratepayers can collect three standard-sized garden plants during each financial year.
Residents must bring their original current rates notice as proof of eligibility. Photocopies and digital versions may not be accepted.
The program is designed to help residents add vegetation to their gardens while increasing greenery across the city.
