Flagstone’s first mixed-use retail project moving along

Expressions of interest to purchase ‘Parkland Corner’ in Flagstone, a 20,330sqm site set to become the area’s first mixed-use retail project, have closed.

Two commercial property agencies, JLL and CBRE, which are selling the site, said Parkland Corner was divided into two lots.

Lot A is 9525sqm, with 2176sqm of easement (reserved for utility or infrastructure needs like drainage or electrics), while Lot B is 10,804sqm, with 684sqm of easement.

Liam Cox from JLL, who is managing the sale, said a retail project of this size was appropriate to meet the demands of Flagstone’s rapidly growing population.

“This is an opportunity to establish the first mixed-use retail development in the town centre and lay the foundations of the city’s retail core,” Mr Cox said.

“Flagstone City itself is set to evolve into a vibrant hub with retail laneways, entertainment precincts, business and health centres, and residential communities.

“The future population is expected to reach 138,000 people by 2050, and an estimated 51,500 new homes are planned for the surrounding area.”

JLL estimates that Flagstone’s retail spending is currently around $849.6 million, which they project will increase to $4.9 billion by 2046.

CBRE’s John Nucifora said Parkland Corner was “uniquely positioned” and that the site had the potential to define the Flagstone area and act as a town centre for locals.

Parkland Corner is located on the corner of Flagstonian and Parkland Drive. Expressions of interest to be included in the sale proceedings closed on Thursday, 16 October 2025.
