Five things to do with kids these school holidays

Still thinking on what to do with your kids during the school holidays? Whether your kids are budding artists, thrill-seekers or nature lovers, The Woods has got the school holidays covered, and be sure to take advantage of the free or discounted rates.

1. Attend a Daisy Hill Koala Centre school holiday workshop
   The Daisy Hill Koala Centre is running Junior Ranger programs this school holidays, giving your kids a chance to get up close and personal with the cute and cuddly koalas, and learn more about koala care and conservation. The workshops run from 8am-10am on Wednesday 1 July and Wednesday 8 July ands cost $28.85 per child.
2. Unleash your kid’s creativity at art workshops
   Bring your little artists to one of several school holiday art workshops this July. Browse through the free Krank school holiday art workshops on the Logan Art Gallery Website (while spots last) or support a local mum at Sparkle Kids Art at Springwood and build your kid’s art confidence.
3. Race on at Kingston Park Raceway
   For the thrill seekers, Kingston Park Raceway is now offering school holiday specials, where you can buy three races and get one race free on the Monte or Sodi Kart races. With four race sessions per day from Wednesday to Saturday, and three race sessions on Sunday, strap in with your kids and have a fun family race in Kingston. Do take note that the Monte Fun karts is only for ages 10 and up, and the Sodi Race Karts are only for ages 16 and up.
4. Leave your kids in an fun Epic Inflatable World
   The EPIC Underwood indoor sports facility is transforming its premises into a inflatable winter wonderland this July, with its school holiday program. Expect daily access to inflatable world, various themed activities each day and an all-weather indoor facility, making sure your kids have fun rain or shine. You can safely leave your kids with EPIC while doing your daily work activities until it’s time to pick them up.
5. Spend a family day at the Hyperdome
   The Logan Hyperdome is the perfect place to spend a whole day of family fun time. Whether catching the latest Minions movie or collecting strikes at the bowling alley, there is fun for both kids and parents alike. This holidays, the Hyperdome is also offering a free Hyperdome Toy Lab for the kids, where your kids can make a furry friend for free to take home.
