Edge Early Learning has opened its fifth Logan centre at Flagstone and already teaches over 1000 local preschoolers.
The two-storey, seven-classroom facility on Golden Penda Drive has recently increased that capacity by 108 students.
“Edge Flagstone represents a new chapter in educational excellence for the thriving community of Flagstone,” Edge Early Learning CEO Annie Bryce said.
“Our commitment to providing top-tier early childhood education is reflected in every detail of this purpose-built centre.
“The excitement and anticipation from families in Flagstone have been extraordinary, with dozens of families enquiring and interested taking tours.
“It’s clear that there’s a genuine demand for quality education and care within this area and we’re thrilled to cater to local families with our new centre.”
Outdoor areas feature a large, blue train-themed climbing fort, water misters, bike tracks, sandpits, vegetable gardens, spaces to run, and quiet areas to relax.
“The Flagstone centre is more than just a physical space, it’s a commitment to creating an educational haven where children can have fun and develop a lifelong love for learning through inquiry-based learning and play experiences,” Ms Bryce said.
Children at the centre have access to daily meals made by in-house chefs.
Edge will also teach children yoga, use bamboo nappies and wipes, and environmentally friendly cleaning products.
Open six days a week, from 6.30am to 6.30pm, the centre will provide 30 jobs to local educators.
