Adventure racers head to Bayside Wake Park at Carbrook on August 29.
The Rogue Raid Adventure Race, which involves trekking, mountain biking and kayaking over a 24-hour time period, was originally scheduled for May are more than ready to go.
The endurance and strategy competition challenges competitors to reach as many checkpoints as possible within the allotted timeframe.
Teams must navigate through the course using a map and compass on a route of their choice.
It is the first time the Rogue Raid event will be held in Logan.
Race director Liam St Pierre said the race would be the 11th Rogue Raid event, which has steadily grown in popularity.
He said COVID-19 restrictions had not dampened the spirits of this year’s competitors.
“Our entrants remain keen to test themselves on this adventurous course,” Dr St Pierre said.
“This event has attracted some of Australia’s top adventure racers, including former national champions.”
