Wham, bam, it’s a poetry slam, and Logan’s heat of The Australian Poetry Slam is online from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Thursday evening, August 20.
Armed with an original poem, heat performers will have a microphone, a live online audience and two minutes to capture the crowd.
Audience judges will select two Logan champions for the state final and a chance to compete in the national final at the Sydney Opera House.
Anyone can register to be an audience member for the August 20 heat.
The competition is open to anyone aged 14 years and older.
