Logan families are being asked to put a date claimer in their diary for Saturday 9 September, with the return of St George’s Anglican Church Beenleigh Musicfest, Bookfest, Plant Sale, Barbecue and Family Fun Day.
The second biennial free festival will feature a variety of live music, including performances by two female African gospel singers, and country musician and Australian Outback Spectacular performer Darren Johnson.
Book-lovers will have the opportunity to purchase second-hand books for prices as low as 50-cents, as well as meet a published local author who will be doing a book signing.
A sausage-sizzle will be avaliable throughout the day for $2 each, as well as a range of salad and other foods.
Balloon sculptures and free stick-on tattoos will be avaliable to children.
The event is held at St Georges Anglican Church on 10 Tansey Street, Beenleigh, from 9am to 3pm.
