We all remember when the bridge at Waterford would go under when the Logan River flooded.
So we built an excellent one way above the flood level. It’s called problem solving.
Today as you say, it’s box ticking resulting in many cases, disastrous results as with Covid.
Someone ticks a box that means you have to pay $14 to dump hard rubbish at Beenleigh Refuse Centre, so at night people dump rubbish along the Logan Motorway. Consultation?
Not malfeasance, but just incompetence from grossly overpaid bureaucrats who need to be removed this coming year from all levels of government to rein in debt.
Paul Jeffery,
Beenleigh.
