Bird photography walk at Eagleby Wetlands

Birdwatchers and budding photographers can practise capturing local wildlife during a guided walk through Eagleby Wetlands.

The Bird Photography Walk will run from 9am to 11am on Saturday 18 July at the wetlands.

The Eco Logan activity will cover simple tips for photographing local birdlife while participants explore the reserve.

People can bring a camera or mobile phone and should also carry drinking water.

Participants are advised to wear fully enclosed shoes, sun-safe clothing and a hat and bring sunscreen.

Queensland tourism information says more than 200 native bird species have been recorded at Eagleby Wetlands, giving photographers plenty to keep an eye out for.

The event is free, but spots will need to be reserved through Eventbrite.
