Beenleigh residents can learn how to grow their own food at home — even without a yard — at a hands-on workshop this month.
The Grow Your Own Food workshop will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 18 July at Beenleigh Neighbourhood Centre, 10–12 James Street.
The session will focus on ways people can grow food at home without needing a large outdoor space.
Participants will get hands-on experience and leave with plants they have potted themselves, ready to continue growing at home.
The workshop involves local businesses Sow & So and Herb St Nature’s Gifts.
The session costs $10 per person and can be booked through Humanitix.
