Thai fried rice recipe

Fried Rice (serves 2)

Ingredients:

Vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons

Cooked white rice, 2 cups

Crushed garlic, 2 cloves

Chopped brown onion, 1 onion

Green shallots, 2 cut into 1cm lengths, both white and green

Beaten eggs, 2

Thinly sliced pork, 200 grams

White sugar, 1/2 teaspoon

Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons

Fish sauce, 1 tablespoon

Method:

In a big wok or pan, add vegetable oil, followed by the thinly sliced pork, then stir for one minute.

Add the brown onion and stir until soft.

Add the crushed garlic, and keep stirring until the garlic is cooked and fragrant.

Immediately add the cooked rice and mix well. Pour in the beaten eggs and stir.

Then add the sugar, soy sauce and fish sauce and cook for two minutes. Follow with the green shallots, and stir through for about 30 seconds.

Ready to serve.
