A Queensland Police constable from the South Eastern Region has been suspended after being charged with alleged computer hacking offences and breaches of domestic violence orders.
Police said the 35-year-old officer was served with notices to appear over seven counts of computer hacking and misuse and three counts of computer hacking and misuse causing detriment, damage or gain.
The alleged computer offences were committed while the officer was off duty.
He has also been charged with six counts of contravening domestic violence orders.
The officer is expected to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on October 12 over the computer-related charges and again on November 17 over the alleged domestic violence order breaches.
Police said the officer had been suspended from duty.
