Residents can meet artist Mary Elizabeth Barron at the opening of Through the Eyes of Children in Beenleigh on Saturday 17 October.
The free event will run from 2pm to 3pm at The Line & Rail Artspace, 96–98 York Street.
Barron has transformed drawings by her grandchildren, created between the ages of four and seven, into bobbin-lace and needle-lace artworks.
The exhibition explores the imagination and confidence of childhood through intricate handmade pieces.
All are welcome, with light refreshments provided.
