Young makers will turn Yarrabilba State Secondary College into their own marketplace ahead of Father’s Day.
Community charity 5FOLD’s Father’s Day Creative Kids Market will run from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 29 August in the school hall on Basalt Drive, opposite Cafe 63.
Children and teenagers aged up to 18 will sell handmade products while gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship and money management.
5FOLD’s Creative Kids Market program is designed to teach young people about earning, saving and financial responsibility, with local businesspeople also involved as mentors.
Young stallholders can book a space via the 5Fold website.
Residents can attend to browse the stalls and shop for locally made Father’s Day gifts.
