Shailer Park State School is calling for more parent and carer volunteers to help in the school tuckshop, with support needed from Tuesday to Friday mornings.
Volunteers are being asked to assist with packing and labelling orders between 8.30am and 11am, with the school saying even an hour of help can make a difference.
The appeal comes as the tuckshop continues preparing popular meal days for students, including a recent butter chicken menu complete with freshly prepared naan bread.
School supporters say the tuckshop plays an important role in the school community and relies heavily on volunteers to keep running smoothly.
Parents and carers interested in helping, either regularly or occasionally, can contact the school via email at office@shailerparkss.eq.edu.au
