A Slacks Creek tobacconist was set on fire early this morning.
Police said they are treating the incident as suspicious.
At around 4.34am on 27 March, police were called to a Kingston Road tobacconist after reports that a man wearing a balaclava had forced entry into the store, shortly before the fire began.
Police said the man was seen fleeing the scene in a car.
Paramedics were called to the fire at 4.45am. No one was injured during the incident, paramedics said.
This is the second suspicious tobacconist store fire this week.
Two days ago, a Barklya Place tobacconist store in Marsden was set on fire.
Police said they believe the Marsden fire was arson, and are continuing to investigate the incident.
Police have asked members of the public who have relevant footage of the area to contact them.
A crime scene has been declared at the store on Kingston Road.
Investigations into the matter are underway, police said.
