The highest average petrol price in Logan has risen by more than five cents in the last year, according to a new RACQ analysis.
Logan Reserve has the most expensive petrol in the entire city, with an average price of 206.5 cents per litre (cpl) for 91 unleaded.
Mount Warren Park (206.1 cpl), Waterford West (205 cpl) and Regents Park (203.0 cpl) were the runners up.
A year ago, the most expensive petrol could be found in Waterford West, costing an average 201.4 cpl.
An RACQ report released today also shows the 7-Eleven at Marsden has the highest average unleaded 91 price in the city at 208.7 cpl.
Shell Reddy Express was a close second at 207.3 cpl, followed by 7-Eleven Logan Reserve, 7-Eleven Mt Warren Park, and Ampol Foodary at Mt Warren Park.
The most expensive station, according to last year’s report, was Coles Express Marsden Park, costing an average of 201.5 cpl.
This year, Underwood has the cheapest petrol in the city with an average 181.5 cpl, followed by Holmview at 182.1 cpl.
The cheapest petrol station is the Atlas Fuel at Holmview, which has an average unleaded 91 cost of 173.2 cpl.
Jio Energy at Underwood was the next cheapest at 173.2 cpl and Jio Energy Kingston with 177.1 cpl.
“While these are the cheapest and dearest sites on average for the whole year, on any given day other sites may have been more or less expensive,” the RACQ report said.
“Only sites that traded and reported prices for most of 2024 were included in this analysis.
“For example, the new BP site in Helensvale, is on average one of the cheapest sites on the Gold Coast, but only opened in December 2024 and was therefore excluded from this analysis.”
