The Sausage Sizzle for Paramedics and Logan Hospital has returned after a Covid-induced three-year break.
The Logan and Districts Local Ambulance Committee teamed up with Underwood Lions to bring back the sizzle and thank paramedics and hospitals workers for their hard work.
It was held last week at the ambulance ramping park.
Sausages, bacon, eggs and coffee were served, and stocks had to be replenished three times.
Col Myers from the Logan and Districts Local Ambulance Committee said it was “a fabulous day that exceeded our expectations”.
Mr Myers also said the committee is looking for more volunteers to help support paramedics.
“We are also looking for volunteers who are interested in becoming CPR Trainers and demonstrators for the CPR awareness group,” he said.
“You can contact the LAC on 0482 850 869 and text your details or leave a voicemail and we will return your call.”
