New facilities add new life to school

Beenleigh High Facilities Upgrade

Beenleigh State High School continues to serve our local community and provide an outstanding student learning experience for all students.

We uphold a proud history of creating an environment that challenges students to understand their strengths and contribute to society in a positive way, and in the words of our school motto ‘ Semper Altiora’ we aim higher.

As a school community, we seek to improve the environment our students participate and engage within.

Current exciting initiatives include the establishment of a new Sports Hall and Events precinct.

These facilities comprise of an indoor multi sports arena, combined with a Kinesiology Lab, Classroom, Staff facilities, Kitchen and Canteen prep space along with an events stage.

What a fantastic space for our students to extend their sporting abilities, hosting hospitality events and enabling large community gatherings such as our ‘Paddock to Plate’ function and ‘Bridge to Business’ event as a way to showcase and connect the achievements of our students with our community partners and future employers.

With the explosion in participation numbers in Basketball and Volleyball, this facility opens the door for future academy programs and a platform to high performance.

Our second major project is the completion of a new toilet block for students.

For all students, the right to feel safe, support wellbeing and provide a healthy environment is a right for all.

With these facility upgrades, we extend our capacity to creating a place of connection and support, ensuring our students are provided with opportunities to realising their potential within a safe, healthy environment.

Beenleigh State High School facilities already provide an abundance of opportunity, whether that be through our hospitality and professional chef kitchen spaces, an agriculture and farm precinct focussing on sustainable practices and our most recent Maths department learning spaces.

Beenleigh continues to build on a diverse learning environment that caters for the individual needs of our students to express and share their talents.

The Beenleigh High community looks forward to these provisions coming to life.
