A group of young Logan residents have banded together to tackle mental health, community safety, the environment, education and employment.
The Logan Youth Action Group (LYAG) comprises of people aged 14 to 24 who live, work or study in Logan and who are passionate about making a positive difference in the community.
LYAG last month opened a native community garden bed at Jimboomba Community Garden and held a fundraising barbecue at Bunnings Loganholme to fund the purchase of toiletry items for youth homeless care packs.
The group has held a vaping awareness workshop at Woodridge State High School, and an interview and employment skills workshop.
