Soroptimist International of Beenleigh will this Women’s Day (8 March) continue their fight to “inspire inclusion”.
“When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world,” club secretary Delisiah Brooks said.
“And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.”
The club will host a breakfast on Women’s Day at Club Beenleigh, with a talk from the Supporter Against Sexual Violence (SASV) group, comprised of survivors and victims of sexual violence and female advocates.
SASV aims to be a “positive influence” in the community, as well as spread awareness, education, and community engagement in Logan to create social change.
The breakfast will run from 6.30-8.30am.
To book, visit the Soroptimist International of Beenleigh Facebook page.
