A woman, 45, was taken to hospital with stomach wounds after an alleged stabbing in Beenleigh, police said.
Emergency services were called to Hugh Muntz Park on Morrison Lane just before 8pm on Sunday, 19 April, following reports that the woman had allegedly been stabbed.
Police said their initial investigations suggest an argument took place between the woman and a man before the woman was injured.
Police have not disclosed the relationship between the woman and the man.
Paramedics transported the woman to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition, police said later on that she was in a stable condition.
A crime scene was declared at the park as officers began their investigation.
Police have also established a second crime scene at a caravan believed to be linked to the incident.
Detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are leading the investigation and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant information or footage, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
