A woman who allegedly set fire to a man’s unit early this morning (Saturday 10 February) has been charged with attempted murder and arson.
Police allege that at around 4am on University Drive in Meadowbrook, the woman, aged 30, lit the fire.
She was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with significant burns.
The man was treated for burns to his hands.

The attempted murder charge was linked to alleged domestic violence.
The woman remains in hospital but is scheduled to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday (February 12).
