Aboriginal theatre
Spend an evening learning about the ancient Aboriginal culture of Australia, and enjoy a live performance of traditional dance and theatre that tells a story of Australian and Aboriginal history and culture. Attendess will also get the chance to chat with the cast over a barbecue dinner. Saturday 28 October, from 6.30-9pm, at Beenleigh Historical Village & Museum.

This event is for parents hoping to discover fun tips to help their child read, write, spell and boost their confidence. Learn simple and low-cost activities to optimise your child’s learning. These tips and activities are ideal for Prep-Year 5 students. Presented by Melissa Savonoff, a paediatric occupational therapist and creator of Ricardo Reading Mouse educational resources. Bookings required. Held on 15 November at Logan Central Library, from 11am to 12:30pm.
Garden Club
Greenpark Garden Club Inc next Meeting will be held on Monday 20 November 2023, 9.30-11.30am at Kingdom Life Centre. The theme for the month’s meeting is Market Day. Guest Speaker is Shirley Dance on Roses. Come along early and have a bite to eat and a chat. Entry fee is $4. The group also holds bus trips every fourth Monday of the month for $40. The November bus trip is to Redcliffe.
