Dementia Choir carols

The Logan Dementia Choir’s final performance of this year is on Wednesday 6 December at the Bethania Community Centre. From 11.30am – 1.30pm the choir will grace guests with Christmas Carols. Lunch, lucky door prize, and raffles will be provided to attendees for only $5 entry. RSVP by 2 December to: [email protected].

Grant writing workshop

This practical workshop will provide participants with a toolkit for writing competitive grant applications. It will also give businesses further resources to progress the vision of their organisations. The Council Grants Team from Logan City Council will be facilitating a Grants Assist session after lunch to provide one on one support to organisations. The workshop will be held on Thursday 30 November, from 9.30am to 3pm at the Bethania Community Centre.
Griffith anniversary

Join staff, students, alumni and community partners for afternoon tea to celebrate 25 years of the Griffith University Logan campus. Staff will also unveil new mural installations by students from the Queensland College of Art and Design LiveArt program. Head to The Undercroft on campus this Thursday 30 November, from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Movie night

Enjoy a free movie for the whole family this Saturday 2 December at Beenleigh Town Square. This Christmas themed night will feature: retro games and face painting, a dance performance, a children’s Christmas show, a Santa meet and greet and a screening of the The Grinch. Guest are asked to bring their own chair or picnic blanket. This free event starts at 4pm.

Park After Dark

Head to the Berrinba Wetlands this Saturday 2 December 2023 to learn and see Australia’s native nocturnal creatures. From 7pm to 9pm, attendees can learn tips and tricks from guides on how to spot different species and safely observe them without impacting them. Reserve your free spot at logan.qld.gov.au/events
