Okami Japanese is the latest restaurant making the Springwood Mall Strip tastier, joining fan-favourites Crackling Viet Home and Young’s Chinese Takeaway to offer locals a great variety of delicious Asian flavours.
Located on Fitzgerald Avenue and separate to the main shopping centre, the Springwood Mall Strip also houses Cignall and Swimart. Free, plentiful parking right at the door of each store makes it the perfect place to shop’n’go for services, goods and takeaway, or to dine in at Okami.
Opened in September, Okami offers All-You-Can-Eat Japanese from $39.80 per person from 5.30pm Tuesday to Sunday and 12pm to 2.30pm for lunch on Sundays. The stunning menu includes cooked fresh prawns, tempura, sushi and sashimi, angus beef, soba, gyoza, takoyaki and much more. An extensive bar offers a great array of drinks and cocktails.
Springwood Mall Marketing Manager Donna O’Neill said as Christmas neared and groups organised end-of-year parties, Okami’s size and beautiful atmosphere made it a great place to celebrate with family, friends or workmates.

“Crackling Viet Home offers catering every day, even on Sundays when the café is closed. They are renowned for their amazing pork crackling and offer excellent value, with spring rolls just $2 each and meal combo deals from just $11.50.
“All of their delicious and fresh Vietnamese dishes are prepared traditionally and authentically, but have been slightly tailored to suit Australian tastes. They also offer many of their dishes gluten free.

Ms O’Neill said the Springwood Mall Strip was recently refreshed with a new pylon sign, new paint externally, fixed tiling and the addition of four, 15-minute parking spots to make access even easier.
“The Strip upgrade was partially supported by the Logan City Council’s Façade Improvement
Program to give the Strip a freshen up, while still remaining the perfect place for people to easily visit,
access and park.”
