Free Swimming Lessons

From 25th to 29th of September kids aged four to 16 can learn essential water safety skills as part of a free swimming program at the Logan North Aquatic Centre & Beenleigh Aquatic Centre. Kids Alive Do the Five is funded by Logan City council and developed by revered coach Laurie Lawrence. Register at .loganleisurecentres.com.au/kidsalivedothefive.

DRM Farmer’s Market
Saturday morning, 30 September, from 7am – 12pm the Distillery Road Farmer’s Market will showcase our region’s best food growers, small-batch producers and local artisans. Local vendors from across SEQ will include a mix of fresh produce growers, small goods, baked treats, spices, and preserves.

Starry Night Outdoor Cinema
Saturday afternoon, 30 September, from 5pm bring a chair or picnic blanket to San Damiano College Oval, Yarrabilba for a free screening of Boss Baby. The movie screening will begin at 5.30pm. This is alcohol, drug, smoking, and pet free event.

Mothers Group Program

Each Tuesday from 12:30pm, new mothers can find support at a Mothers Group program held at the Bethania Community Centre. Industry experts including lactation consultants, dietitians, physios, child care nurses, and music therapists will visit the group. Register at biglittlewins.com.au.

Dawood Sarkhosh Concert

Renowned Afghan-Hazara singer Dawood Sarkhosh will play at the Logan Entertainment Centre for on 1 October from 7:30pm. Dawood’s powerful and inspiring songs have touched the hearts of millions worldwide, offering solace and healing. Tickets are $75.95.
