It was interesting to read in your newspaper this week (August 3, MyCity Logan) about Ashley Moloney and his quest to make the top 10 of the decathlon.
As we now know, he was capable of more than even he thought was possible, and thanks largely to his mate Cedric Dubler who urged him on during the 1500m race.
As a sports fanatic and Logan resident, I couldn’t be more proud right now, and look forward to seeing him return with a bronze medal around his neck.
He and our other Olympians have done us extremely proud.
