Whether it be major business being recognised for statewide export or innovation awards, or teachers granted recognition for being the best in their business, or sporting heroes at the top of their game, we’re seeing a lot of success stories come through our news desk.
This week we feature the Spirits of the Red Sands. This experience has again been nominated for the highest of awards in tourism.
It’s already been named Queensland’s Number 1 “Must Do Experience”.
It would be easy to say these guys are tucked away in the back of Beenleigh, and the teachers are punching above their weight, or that businesses are rising.
While it’s true, that type of phrase would be to feign surprise.
We know we have some pretty special talent, backed by years of hard work that has gone into the success of each group and individual who captures the spotlight from Logan.
We have known for a long time that our city competes with the best. While others outside our region might carry a very old, staid and outdated stigma about some suburbs of Logan, we’ve outgrown it. We’ve moved on.
And we deserve to celebrate each and every win.
