KAREN Murphy will lead the city’s Governance Committee, taking over from Natalie Wilcocks who has become deputy mayor.
Cr Murphy was previously deputy, and will now be supported by Tim Frazer.
“I will be building on the important work that’s already started for next year’s budget to support our city’s 340,000 residents,” she said.
