Logan VIEW Club celebrated its 12th birthday recently with a day of fun, and a birthday cake made by committee member Barbara Arama.
The cake was cut by national councillor Betty Van Heeswijck, surrounded by club committee members (pictured).
VIEW, which stands for “Voice, Interest and Education of women” is the Smith Family’s largest community sponsor of Learning for Life Students.
It supports the educational outcomes of more than 1300 children and young people.
Logan VIEW is a supportive network providing the opportunity for women from all walks of life, to meet regularly, establish lasting friendships while helping disadvantaged young Australians.
The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month, at 11am for an 11.30am start.
The cost is $25 which includes a two-course lunch and an opportunity to hear an interesting guest speaker.
