Two Logan teens charged over Gold Coast alleged attempted burglary

Police have charged two Logan boys after a stolen car collided with another car at Oxenford early Thursday morning.

Police allege an attempted burglary occurred at a house in Maudsland at around 1.40am.

Shortly afterwards, an allegedly stolen Nissan Patrol was involved in a collision with a Kia Stinger.

Four boys were charged as a result, including two 16-year-olds from Logan.

A boy from Logan Central was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of weapon and property suspected stolen.

A boy from Logan Reserve was charged with attempt to enter dwelling at night, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of weapon and property suspected stolen.

All four boys were denied police bail.
