Logan City has expanded its impressive collection of over 900 parks with the grand opening of Tivoli Park at Greenbank.
The grand opening was held on 26 October, featuring family-friendly activities, entertainment and food.
Local councillor Natalie Wilcocks joined locals for the day, and said the new park would be enjoyed by Logan locals of all ages.
“One of the many features of the park I love is that all ages have been considered in this design,” Cr Wilcocks said.
“The swings, the rope climbing pyramid, and lots of other activity areas for the smaller kids.
“For the bigger kids, there is a great handball court, a flying fox – which is always lots of fun – and a large green space with goal posts that can be utilised for a variety of social sports.
“I’m sure local residents and visitors to our city will be enjoying the park for years to come.”
Tivoli Park spans 7235sqm of open space, surrounded by bushland.
