The Logan School Based Police Officers (SBPO) are on a mission to expand their online safety programs with the help of local parents.
One such program, Think U Know, is an Australian Federal Police program aimed at helping parents, carers, educators and police to raise awareness and deliver education around the prevention of online child sexual exploitation.
Logan School Based police have completed 72 cyber safety presentations so far this year, reaching 8274 students.
“We need your help to help us reach our goal setting a new record this year reaching our target of 100 presentations by the end of the school year,” a police statement read.
“If you are interested in learning more, please visit ThinkUKnow for resources, myth busting, activities and e-books/fact sheets to support the early intervention and safer online practices inside and outside the home.”
