THIS will be our final edition of MyCity Logan for 2022.
Our first edition for 2023 will be on Tuesday, January 24 – just in time for the start of the school year, Australia Day and whatever news the region cares to deliver.
Again, we’ll be operating with a mantra to celebrate the wonderful suburbs in which we choose to live.
We’ll be looking up to those in our community achieving outstanding results in their chosen fields, working with remarkable businesses who are taking their ideas and products to the world, and seeking out the things which make our region special.
As a news organisation, we have a responsibility to hold authorities accountable, and to provide people within our communities a voice, a diversity of opinions, on an array of topics.
It has always been our mission to be a leader when it comes to delivering news to our catchment area, to be unashamedly proud of Logan, and to stand up for its people.
There are ways we’ll be able to improve, and we’ll always strive to do so.
In the meantime, I wish our tens of thousands of readers all a happy and safe holiday season, along with all the people behind businesses who we’ve worked with throughout the past year.
We look very much forward to the exciting challenges 2023 holds for our region.
Most of all however, I want to say thank you – to those who have embraced MyCity Logan as your community newspaper, to the businesses who’ve trusted us as a reliable, trustworthy and connected product, and to all the others we’ve worked with in our short lifespan.
