Four teenagers are allegedly responsible for a five-car pile-up at Eagleby on Friday 20 October.
Police say a 15-year-old boy was driving a stolen white Audi “at speed” southbound on the Pacific Highway around 6.20pm when it crashed into several cars, rolled and then landed on its roof.
Five vehicles were damaged in the crash, and some of the people involved suffered minor injuries.
There were four teens in the Audi: two males aged 14 and 15-years-old, and two females aged 13 and 14-years-old.
They allegedly fled the scene, but were arrested a short distance away on Pheasant Avenue.
The Audi was allegedly stolen from a property on Harmsworth Road at Pacific Pines sometime between 5pm the day before the crash (19 October) and 8am the day of (20 October).
A 15-year-old alleged driver of the car has been charged the unlawful use of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving a vehicle without a driver’s licence, and two counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent.
A 14-year-old female has been charged with offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 14-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl have both been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and are expected to appear before the Beenleigh Childrens Court on 30 October.
All four youths are being dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
