Teens charged over alleged break-in spree

Detectives have charged two teenagers with additional offences following investigations into several break and enters across Brisbane’s south.

It is alleged on 5 July two teenage boys committed several property crime offences across Brisbane’s south.

Suburbs where the offences are alleged to have occurred include Eight Mile Plains, Drewvale and Calamvale.

A 17-year-old Eagleby boy and 17-year-old Berrinba boy have been charged with additional offences including one count each of enter dwelling with intent by break/whilst armed/in company/damages property, wilful damage, robbery whilst armed/in company, common assault, deprivation of liberty and UUMV.

The pair first appeared before Southport Children’s Court on July 7.

Investigations are ongoing.
