Grab your colleagues and your golf clubs, and join Kingston East Neighbourhood Group (KENG) for their annual charity golf day.
“Whether you’re an avid golfer or just looking for a fun day out, this event promises excitement, camaraderie, and a chance to support a great cause,” event organisers said.
KENG runs several fundraising events throughout the year to provide local students with school supplies and backpacks.
“We’ve been doing this for several years,” a KENG spokesperson said.
” We aim to be able to giveaway 1000 backpacks each year.”
This year’s golf day will be held on Friday 6 September at Carbrook Golf Club.
Starting at 7am with a barbeque breakfast, participants will play in teams of four, with the first hole kicking off at 8am.
There will also be raffles, a lucky door prize, and a ‘Hole in One Challenge’ – winners can score an Audi A1 or $10,000 cash.
