Tattoos and their stories on show in Logan

A new exhibition at the Living Museum of Logan is putting the spotlight on tattoos as a deeply personal and historical art form.

Tattoos: Story Lines explores the journeys of eight Logan residents, showcasing their ink and the stories behind them.

More than just body art, tattoos have long served as a means of storytelling, cultural expression, and personal identity.

The exhibition delves into the significance of tattoos across different generations and cultures, highlighting their evolution as an art form that transcends borders.

The exhibition, housed within the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct, will be on display until March 2026.

Visitors can explore the exhibition for free from Tuesday to Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm.

The museum is closed on public holidays.
