An Eagleby man has allegedly been threatened and seriously assualted during what police suspect was a targeted overnight attack.
Police say the 31-year-old man was asleep at a Tarlo Street residence at around 1.30am today when “four men entered”.
“The men threatened the occupant and demanded money, before assaulting him and stealing personal items,” a police statement said.
“The group fled the scene on foot.”
The 31-year-old sustained head and neck injuries and was taken to Logan Hospital for treatment.
“Investigators believe it was a targeted attack and there is no ongoing threat to public safety,” police said.
Anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage of the area around this time, is urged to contact police.
